That is why we offer a comprehensive Canine Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation service designed to relieve pain, restore mobility, and enhance your companion's overall well-being.

Your Specialist: Myriam Calderón

Your dog's physical care is in the expert hands of Myriam Calderón. Alongside her background as a dog trainer, Myriam is a Certified Veterinary Assistant specializing in Canine Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, backed by multiple official certifications. Her approach combines anatomical knowledge with a special sensitivity when treating dogs during their recovery, ensuring they feel safe, relaxed, and stress-free.

Facilities & Therapies

At our Mojácar center, we are equipped with specialized technology to tailor each treatment to the specific pathology or needs of every dog—whether for post-surgical recovery, joint issues (such as osteoarthritis or dysplasia), senior dog care, or conditioning for sporting dogs.

Our services include: (Click on each for more information)

- Underwater Treadmill (Hydrotherapy): Essential for low-impact recovery. The water reduces weight-bearing on the joints while building muscle strength and improving cardiovascular capacity. Ideal for small-medium dogs.

- Laser Therapy: Uses light energy (photobiomodulation) to penetrate deep tissues, stimulating cells to repair damaged tissue naturally and much faster.

- Electrotherapy (TENS & EMS): We use TENS for effective pain relief and EMS for muscle stimulation and strengthening, whether for prevention or recovery.

- Thermotherapy: Controlled application of heat or cold to reduce inflammation, relax muscles, and prepare tissues for therapy.

- Therapeutic Massage & Stretching: Manual techniques to release tension, improve circulation, and reduce muscle spasms.

- Proprioception Exercises: Circuits and exercises designed to improve the dog's balance, coordination, and body awareness.

A Tailored Recovery Plan

Just like in dog training, rehabilitation requires an individualized approach. We thoroughly evaluate each dog to design a unique recovery plan, always working in direct communication with your trusted veterinarian to guarantee the best possible results.
